Markets in Gauteng 

1. Riversands Farm Village Market –Fourways

2. Market @ the Sheds 
Situated right in the heart of the city, Market @ the Sheds showcases fashion, art, live music, food and design. Expect a vibrant, creative outdoor atmosphere. The market takes place on the last Saturday of the month. Here is a schedule of the next market date. 
When: Saturdays, 11:00 to 18:00 

3. Welwitschia Country Market
This outdoor market situated in Hartbeespoort, not too far from Johannesburg showcases arts and crafts, jewelry and delicious food. There is a designated kiddie’s play area to keep young minds entertained as the older crowd explores the market. For more information, click here

Markets in KwaZulu-Natal

1. Shongweni Farmers and Craft Market 
The Shongweni Farmers and Craft Market boasts of over 150 stalls, more than half of them offering delectable treats. The market starts quite early, so you can even have your breakfast there. This is the market to visit to support local businesses or simply to indulge in culinary experience. 
When: Saturdays at 06:00 to 10:30

2. Hillcrest Heritage Market
This family-friendly market offers delicious baked goods, fruit and vegetables and cheeses , ideal for a picnic lunch. You will also be able to shop for paintings, arts and crafts and furniture made by local suppliers. Visit their Facebook page here for more information.

Markets in the Western Cape 

1. The Mojo Market 
The Mojo Market is a 7-day-a-week food and lifestyle market in the heart of Sea Point with about 80 stalls showcasing and selling food, arts and crafts, contemporary clothing, gifts and jewelry, as well as fresh goods.   
When: 10:30 to 15:30 every Sunday from February to May

2. Root 44 Market 
The Root 44 Market, surrounded by picturesque vineyards and trees is the place to be if you are looking to relax with the family. It boasts children-friendly entertainment and food stalls.  You might also love the park runs they host on Saturdays. 
When: Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 to 16:00
