Let’s be honest, unless if you’re a disciplined pro-athlete or are naturally inclined to enjoy exercise no matter what, exercising when it’s cold outside can be a challenge. For the average person, the temptation to just snuggle up in bed and enjoy comfort foods easily becomes more appealing. Nevertheless, exercise is still essential for sound physical and mental health. Here are some tips to help you stay motivated when it’s cold outside.
1. Get everyone involved
If you’re still working from home and have your family at home too, you might as well use it to your advantage. Set a step challenge and reward the person who walked the most steps with a break from their chores.
2. Challenge your friends
Staying in touch with friends and loved ones is not as it used to be before lockdown. You may not always be able to have all your friends available at the same time for a video call, but that doesn’t mean you should give up. Use your common goal of staying healthy to keep you connected. Challenge each other and see who can get the most Active Dayz™, or who can achieve the most steps in a month. Log them at the end of the month and agree on a prize to contribute towards.
Don’t forget about your Multiply discounts on the Multiply online shop or our partners when shopping for your prize.
3. Set a goal
Set a goal to achieve by spring, like having more toned muscles for your favourite summer clothes. It can be challenging to work hard and focus with no goal in mind.
